Today is GG's 76th birthday... We sent a balloon up to heaven for her birthday party with Popi!! <3 <3 We also spent the evening at the beach with some people from church... About 75 of them! :o) It was a lot of fun! Eli and Addison had a good time playing in the sand and Eli went in the fountain and played for a little bit too.

Dear Eli,
I was talking to G-Ma today and remembered some other great times with your GG... When I was younger your Auntie Del and Auntie Bethy and I would "grocery shop" in your GG's kitchen. GG would allow us to go into the cabinets and pick out anything we wanted to take home with us to eat. :o) One of the really popular items that we would always "buy" was Romen Noodles. I don't know why, but we LOVED them! We still do today! :o) Another fun memory that we talked about today was the trip that your GG, my cousin Jessi and I took when I was in (I think) 3rd grade-ish. We were taking my Bobo's (your great-great grandma's) ashes to their burial place in South Carolina where your GG grew up. It was such a fun trip. I wish that you had a chance to take a trip like that with GG, but I know that one day you will take a trip like that with your G-Ma. We will get to travel this coming spring to lay GG to rest with her mom and family in South Carolina and you will be able to see a little of where GG was born. :o) Those were the memories from today. We will see what tomorrow brings! I love you more daily!! Love- Mama Dear Eli,
There is so much I want you to know about your GG. Here are just a few of them... 1: Your GG LOVED to sew! You have a Gramie Pillow, so does Mom and Dad, so does practically everyone else in your family! :o) ( (Mama) also has a special quilt that GG made for her that will one day be passed down to you. I hope that you will adore it as much as I do! 2: Your GG LOVED God very much! GG and I often talked about our faith. She told me more than once that she was ready whenever the Good Lord was. I wish that you had more time to know her, but God wanted her home... But your GG loved to talk about God and how good He is. I hope that you know God's love like GG did... 3: Your GG LOVED people. She always tried to make other peoples lives a little easier. She was God's hands here on Earth for so many. GG was willing to do anything for so many... I hope that when you get older, you inherate this from her. 4: Your GG LOVED her family. Your GG was the matriarch of our family. She was always interested in what was happening to all of our family members. All of the great-grands were her pride and joy as of late! When she met you for the first time, she told me how special you were. She said when she held you, she knew how special you were... 5: Your GG LOVED YOU!! There isn't much more to say about that... It's the truth! I am sure people will tell you so many stories about your GG, and I hope that you will hear the truth behind them... She loved you and our family very much! She cared about people and the world. Your GG was an AMAZING woman and she is watching over you and your cousins with love right now! Love you bunches!! Mama Today Heaven's gates are crowded with people welcoming Home our GG. Popi and Bobo were the first ones there with arms open. We are so very, very sad that she had to go, but so greatful that she is at peace and has no pain anymore. No more oxygen, no more coughing, no more confusion. Jesus, please tell GG we love her now and forever!! <3 <3 <3
It has been WAY to long since I have updated! But this is just a quick update to keep myself (and anyone who might read) a little rundown of what has been happening...
We went away for the weekend before 4th of July. It was FUN! We need more vacations! lol. Then Eli got pink eye (in both eyes) and I got really sick. Today I am still coughing from getting sick on July 6! :o( Rick went to New Hampshere for a conference for work for 5 days. We have been VERY busy! :o) But now the hard part... We are in the process of saying good bye to our GG. <3 <3 <3 GG is an amazing woman and we love her with all our hearts!! So our house has been hit... By SICKNESS!! On Monday (July 4th) we were at Mom and Dad's house for fireworks and Eli seemed to be having a severe allergic reaction to some bug bites. His eyes looked swollen underneath, he was super tired, and he had green gunk coming out of his eyes. :o( So we called it an early 4th of July and went home after seeing the fireworks that Daddy and cousin Kevin set off for us. On Tuesday morning, I took Eli to the pedi to figure out what was going on. He was having a reaction to the bites (just a milder one) and he had PINK EYE in both eyes. :o( Well, Tuesday night I realized that I also had pink eye in one of my eyes! Plus I was sick. Like headaching, body aching, throat hurting, stuffy nose sick. :o( Wednesday I woke up and (lucky for us) Auntie Del was able to come over and watch Eli while I stayed in bed. My fever spiked and it was a really really rough day. On Thursday Eli went to school and I went back to work (even thought I still didn't feel good). Today has been a rough time again just because I am still not feeling good, but will hopefully feel better VERY soon! Rick goes to Massachusets on Sunday till Thursday and I need to be healthy to take care of Eli. :0) Pics of the 4th of July will be coming soon! It was fun even though Eli didn't feel very good. :o/
